Jon Vilasau Sarobe

Jon Vilasau Sarobe has over 15 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Jon is currently a Lead Application Scientist at Croda, where they are responsible for developing new products, manufacturing procedures, and homologating new raw materials. Prior to this, Jon worked as a Product and Process Development Manager at Croda, focusing on the development of cosmetics and microencapsulated products based on titanium dioxide. Jon also has experience as a Product Development Manager at Henkel and ICIQ, and as a PhD and Postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Química Avanzada de Cataluña. Additionally, Jon has worked as a Professor of a Master degree at CESIF and as a Project Researcher at Cognis and BASF.

Jon Vilasau Sarobe has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry & Polymer Science from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, which they obtained from 1997 to 2004. Jon then pursued a Master's degree in Science and Technology of Colloids and Interfaces from Universidad de Granada, which they completed from 2005 to 2006. Following this, Jon obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Colloidal Chemistry from Universitat de Barcelona, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Jon obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the British Council in 2011 and a Deutsches Sprachdiplom Zweite Stufe from Kultusministerkonferenz (KMK) in 1997.
