Cindy Bean has a strong background in nonprofit leadership. Cindy currently holds the position of Vice President Chapter Growth and Development at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, where they oversee and supports west area chapters. Prior to this, Cindy was the Chief Operations and Development Officer at No Barriers USA, where they built and led all revenue generation efforts. Cindy also served as the Executive Vice President West Region at the National MS Society, where they supervised CEOs in major markets, reduced expenses, and developed centralized solutions. Cindy has also worked at Colorado State University as a Campaign Director, leading a successful comprehensive campaign. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at the National MS Society, driving revenue growth and providing leadership in chapter fund development.
Cindy Bean attended Colorado State University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technical Journalism/PR. Prior to that, they attended Northern Arizona University from 1977 to 1979, but it is unknown whether they completed a degree or field of study during this time.
