Andrew Adie has extensive work experience in finance and corporate services. Andrew is currently the Director of Finance and Corporate Services at Crohn's and Colitis UK. Andrew Adie obtained their O levels from Louth Grammar School in 1977. Andrew then attended Bourne Grammar School from 1977 to 1979, where they studied A levels in the sixth form. Adie went on to pursue a BA Hons in Business Studies at Middlesex University from 1979 to 1983. Afterward, they attended ICAEW from 1983 to 1986, where they successfully passed their exams to qualify as a chartered accountant.

Crohn's and Colitis UK is the UK’s leading charity in the battle against Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We work to make life better for the 500,000 people in the UK with Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). We provide a range of information and support services, raises awareness of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis through our media work, celebrity ambassadors and champions, and by working in close partnership with healthcare professionals, MP’s and decision makers in order to drive up standards of healthcare across the UK. We are also committed to finding a cure for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and since 1984 have been funding a wide range of research projects. Our aim is not only to search for causes, cure and better treatments, but also to explore the social and psychological impact of these illnesses on patients and their families. Crohn’s and Colitis UK brings together people of all ages who have been diagnosed with IBD, their families and the health professionals involved in their care. We welcome support from anyone who would like to help us in our work, whether as a member, volunteer or by raising funds.
