Vipan Kumar

Vipan Kumar is an accomplished electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in motor design, development, and energy-efficient technologies. Currently serving as the Deputy General Manager at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited since May 2022, Vipan leads a team focused on high-performance ceiling and TPW fan design while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost optimization. Previously, Vipan spent over a decade at LG Electronics, first as a Manager in R&D for hermetic compressor design and development, and initially as a Research Engineer developing induction motors for various compressor sizes. Earlier career roles included an Electrical Engineer position at DLF Laing O'Rourke India Limited and a Graduate Engineering Trainee role at Leighton Asia. Vipan holds a Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Kurukshetra University.
