Michael P. Hamilton, AIA, serves as Vice President and Design Principal at HDR Architecture since October 2011, following a role as Design Principal at Leo A Daly from May 2006 to October 2011. Hamilton's leadership in the architectural community includes serving as Past President of the AIA Omaha Chapter from January 2010 to January 2011. Academic contributions consist of lecturing at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and teaching as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1999 to 2008, as well as holding the position of Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University from 2004 to 2006. Previous professional experience includes roles as Architectural Designer at RDG Planning & Design and Designer at Avant Architects. Hamilton holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has further educational experience at the University of Toronto and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
