Alan Lindsay

Alan Lindsay is a seasoned retail management professional with extensive experience in trade development and store operations. Currently serving as Trade Development Manager at Cromwell since August 2021, Alan is responsible for managing £110m in sales across 28 stores and overseeing over 700 colleagues. Previously, Alan held key positions including Retail Regional Manager North at Arco Ltd, Area Manager at Sports Direct International, and Regional Stock & Systems Manager at Wilko. Notably, Alan served as General Manager at TJ Hughes, successfully implementing a new store in Northern Ireland, and also held a General Manager role at Woolworths Big W, where leadership and team development were pivotal in exceeding business objectives.
