Lydia Conley

VP of Plant Science Research at Crop One

Lydia Conley joined Crop One Holdings in 2016 on the Plant Science research team and is now the VP of Plant Science Research. Prior to joining the Crop One team, Lydia spent over four years contributing to plant development research as a member of the “Plant Growth and Research Management Team” for one of the world’s largest plant biotechnology companies. Ms. Conley also taught Special Education, General Science, Chemistry and Physical Science in a Title One school for three years. During her tenure as a teacher, she maintained an in classroom greenhouse and oversaw the city’s community garden planning hands-on projects designed to teach students the fundamentals of plant biology. Throughout her academic career, Ms. Conley researched the environmental impacts of runoff water into local beaches and estuaries to determine causes of frequent algal blooms. Ms. Conley earned her BS in Biology from Salve Regina University and completed a graduate teaching program at Rhode Island College.
