With more than two decades of integrated marketing experience, Megan has led corporate communications and national public outreach campaigns that increase awareness and drive behavior change across the healthcare, energy, transportation, and military sectors. These campaigns have collectively inspired actions to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of key audiences and stakeholder groups. Her rare ability to synthesize situations and provide strategic insights to solve complex challenges makes her a highly sought-after counselor.
At Crosby, Megan leads teams to develop campaign strategy, messaging, crisis communications, media relations and stakeholder outreach programs. Her key clients include agencies within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service (HHS), such as the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, Health Resources and Services Administration, and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
Prior to joining Crosby, Megan was the Director of Communications Strategy for the UVM Health Network, overseeing communications and editorial strategy, social media, and special projects for six hospitals and a home health agency in Vermont and northern New York. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Megan led an enterprise-wide crisis response effort, engaging physicians and frontline staff on ever-changing guidance, and conveying time-sensitive information to consumers and patients on how to safely receive care.
For fifteen years, Megan led several practice areas within Edelman’s Washington, D.C. office, including healthcare, energy, technology, and government. As the Federal Government Services team lead, she provided strategic oversight for multi-year, multi-million-dollar contracts with HHS, Department of Defense, and Department of Energy.
Megan earned a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.
