Juan Carlos Rivas

Juan Carlos Rivas is an experienced professional in international relations and public policy, currently serving as the Public Relations and External Affairs Director at Cross Border Xpress since October 2024. Previously, Rivas held the position of Director for Strategic Community Engagement at World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana 2024 and worked as a Private Consultant focused on international affairs and US-Mexico binational policy. Rivas has also contributed to the University of California San Diego as a Program Coordinator, managed cooperation projects at the Agencia Mexicana de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo, and represented the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Relations at the Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego. Rivas holds a Master of Advanced Studies in International Affairs from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
