Jesus Yelamo is an experienced engineer with a focus on controls and manufacturing. Jesus most recently worked at Cross Company as a Controls Engineer starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Controls Engineer at Meritor from October 2021 to March 2022. Jesus also worked at Sub-Zero Group, Inc. as a Controls Technician II and Manufacturing Engineer Technician II from November 2019 to October 2021. In this role, they performed various tasks such as creating programs for press breaks, troubleshooting robotic welders and press brakes, and providing production support. Before that, Jesus was a Manufacturing Team Lead at Norco Industries from July 2015 to December 2016, where they programmed and troubleshooted welding robots, managed the production line, and made key improvements to reduce machine downtime. Jesus began their career as a Project Designer at Industrias Meier from March 2013 to July 2014, overseeing lab tests, designing electrical blueprints, programming PLCs, and managing projects for illumination systems in stadiums.

Jesus Yelamo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Carabobo, which was completed between 2007 and 2013. In 2013, they also received a certificate from Universidad José Antonio Páez in PLC and SCADA applications for control systems in industrial processes using Allen-Bradley. Following this, Jesus pursued further education at Madison Area Technical College, where they obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Industrial Automation from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022.
