Sheila Davis has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sheila started their career as an Admissions Advisor and later became a Financial Aid Officer at Kaplan University, where they maintained federal financial aid regulations and audited student accounts. Sheila then transitioned into education, working as an English Teacher at Spring ISD, a Special Education Teacher at Houston ISD, and a Special Education Teacher at Alief ISD. In these roles, they developed and implemented data collection systems, analyzed trends, and delivered instruction tailored to students' individual needs. Sheila also served as a Staff Accountant at Rhyno National Transportation, where they prepared financial statements and reconciled accounts. Most recently, they worked as a Special Education Coordinator at Accountable Healthcare Staffing, where they facilitated meetings, coordinated with teachers, and provided specialized instruction. Currently, Sheila is a Lead Special Education Teacher at Cross Country Healthcare, where they tailor educational plans and implements communication and intervention protocols.
Sheila Davis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, which they completed between 2002 and 2008. Sheila then pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Prairie View A&M University, which they completed from 2017 to 2021. In addition to their degrees, Sheila has obtained additional certifications including Accounting Foundations from LinkedIn and a Licensed Life Agent certification from PHP Agency, Inc.
