Shunsuke Takaki began their career in 2010 as a Clinical Fellow at Institut Jantung Negara. shunsuke then moved on to become a Clinical Research Fellow at Prince of Wales Hospital in 2011. In 2012, they took on the role of Doctor at Yokohama City University. In 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of CROSS SYNC, Inc.

Shunsuke Takaki obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from Yokohama City University in 2002, after having studied there from 1996.
