Sebastian Deschler

Sebastian Deschler is the current General Counsel at Crossboundary. Prior to this, they served as the SVP, General Counsel & Secretary at TerraForm Power from January 2014 to October 2017. Sebastian has also held the position of Head of Legal, EMEA and Latin America at SunEdison from December 2007 to January 2014. Sebastian was also an Associate Attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from February 2004 to December 2007 and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP from September 2002 to January 2004. Sebastian began their legal career as a Legal Intern & Assistant Editor at the International Commission of Jurists from October 1994 to March 1995.

Sebastian Deschler has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Finance from New York University School of Law and a JD / First State Exam in Law from The University of Bonn.

Their manager is Matt Tilleard, Co-Founder & Managing Partner. Some direct reports include Megan Osborn - Legal Counsel, Tozama Mate - Legal Administrator, and Rajen Ranchhoojee - Deputy Legal Counsel.
