Josh Petersen

Josh Petersen currently serves as the Interim Lead Pastor at Great Lakes Church since October 2023 and holds the position of VP of Mortgage Lending at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC since February 2022. Petersen's experience in ministry spans over 15 years, including roles as Lead Pastor at Immanuel Church, where strategic direction was provided for a congregation of 1,200 and leadership for a staff of 15 was exercised. At Immanuel Church, Petersen also served as Pastor of Student Ministries, overseeing 30 volunteers and managing programming and budgeting for youth activities. Prior to a career in ministry, Petersen worked as a Service Technician at Beach Pump & Well from 1999 to 2005. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry from Trinity International University and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from the College of Lake County.
