Sarah Ball

Sarah Ball is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in managing high-value procurement activities across various sectors. Since July 2015, Sarah has served as the Head of Procurement & Property at CrossCountry Trains, previously holding the position of Head of Procurement. Prior to this role, Sarah spent nearly eight years at Standard Chartered Bank, where responsibilities included serving as Global Category Manager for Professional Services & HR and Travel, overseeing expenditures exceeding $500 million and $150 million, respectively. Key achievements include negotiating global framework agreements and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies that enhanced stakeholder engagement and delivered substantial cost savings. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from the University of Reading.
