Gurgen Tokhmakhyan

Gurgen Tokhmakhyan has extensive work experience in network and system administration. Gurgen worked as a Network Architect at DigiFence from May 2019 to the present, where they analyzed and detected anomalies in IT infrastructure regarding cybersecurity and network architecture. Gurgen designed a scalable network infrastructure and prepared offers for security provisioning and system optimization. Gurgen also controlled employees' work and resources with Kubernetes and Ansible.

Prior to this, Gurgen was the Head of the System/Network Department at CROSSNET from December 2017 onwards. There, they were responsible for the maintenance, administration, monitoring, and security provisioning of wide area networks and fiber optics networks. Gurgen also handled network planning, optimization, and implementation of new projects, utilizing BGP for network administration.

Before joining CROSSNET, Gurgen worked as the Head of the Network & System Administration Division at Areximbank-Gazprombank Group from September 2009 to December 2017. Gurgen also served as a Senior Network Administrator at Armentel JSCo., Vimpelcom Company from May 2004 to August 2007, and as a Network Administrator at Armenian Computer Center/Internet Services Provider from June 2000 to June 2001.

Gurgen Tokhmakhyan completed their high school education at the External English learning school from 1987 to 1997, where they obtained Attestation. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Automated Systems for Information Processing and Control at the State Engineering University of Armenia from 1997 to 2001.

Gurgen Tokhmakhyan also holds several additional certifications. Gurgen obtained CCNA certification from TD Azlan UK in February 2005, followed by CCNA/CCNP certification from Intracom IT Services in December 2005. In March 2006, they acquired certification in CBOSS Sub-System management from CBOSS. Continuing their professional development, Gurgen obtained certifications in various areas related to network systems. These include GSM Signaling Network, GSM Network and System, GPRS Network and System from Apis Technical Training AB in October 2006. Gurgen also obtained IP Manager Administration and Cisco GGSN certifications from Siemens in December 2006 and CCNP certification from Azlan Training Ltd. in April 2007. Additionally, Gurgen received Mikrotik RouterOS SWOS Configuration training from MikroTik, although the date of certification acquisition is not specified.
