Lance Sumner

Lance Sumner currently serves as Campus Pastor at Crossroads Baptist Church and as a Consultant and Trainer for IMPACT DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES INC, both since August 2022. Prior experience includes over nine years as Senior Pastor at The Connection Church, where oversight and discipleship were key responsibilities, and roles such as Associate Pastor at Lucerne Baptist Church and Beulah Baptist Church, focusing on youth development and curriculum establishment. Lance also served as Youth Pastor at Post Oak Baptist Church and has a background in the U.S. Army as a Biological Research Specialist and Investigator. Academically, Lance holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Leadership from Luther Rice College & Seminary, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Emmanuel College.
