Brian Kollen is an experienced human resources professional with a background in consulting and coaching. Currently serving as a Human Resources Consultant at Second Look since 2009, Brian specializes in reviewing HR programs, generating reports, and providing improvement recommendations. As an Employment Coach for Crossroads Career Network since 2010, Brian instructs individuals on career development strategies, including resume construction and interview preparation. Previous roles include Employment Coach at Ottawa County Michigan Works! and a Human Resources Intern at Saint Mary's Health Care. Brian also managed the human resources department at Great Lakes Home Furnishings for over a decade, overseeing various functions such as recruitment, benefits administration, training, and payroll for up to 85 employees. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Human Resource Management from SUNY Brockport.
