Courtney King

Courtney King has a diverse work experience, starting in 2004 as a K-3 Self-Contained Special Education Teacher at Toltec Elementary School. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Quality First Lead Assessor at Southwest Human Development, assessing the quality of care in childcare centers and family childcare homes. Then, in 2014, they joined First Things First as a Quality First Program Coordinator until March 2022. Currently, they serve as the Early Learning Academy Director at Crossroads YMCA, starting in April 2022.

Courtney King attended the University of Oregon from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Family and Human Services. In October 2022, they obtained a certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
