Jason Layton

Jason Layton has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to the present. Most recently, they work as a Director at Crosstree since 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Vice President at Jacobs Capital from 2017 to 2020. In 2016, they held the position of Senior Director of Global Finance & Pricing Operations at QuintilesIMS. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Vice President of Finance & Corporate Operations at Health Decisions, where they played a crucial role in stabilizing the company following the sudden death of the CEO. Before that, they served as Director of Finance & Integration Leader at Acurian Inc., a PPD subsidiary, from 2013 to 2014. Jason also had significant experience at PPD starting from 2009, where they held various roles such as Director of Finance, Americas, Director of Strategic Development, Associate Director of Strategic Development, and Analyst of Strategic Development. Jason started their career as an Associate Attorney at Hunton & Williams, LLP, where they worked from 2001 to 2004.

Jason Layton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Anthropology from Duke University, starting in 1994 and completing their studies in 1997. Following their undergraduate degree, they attended Tulane University Law School from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on Corporate Law. Later on, Jason pursued further education at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School between 2005 and 2007. During this time, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate.
