Courtney Cates

Courtney Cates began their work experience in 2003 as a Library Page at Emporia Public Library, a position they held until 2009. In September 2009, they joined CrossWinds Counseling & Wellness as the Human Resources Director, where they continue to work.

Courtney Cates, SHRM-CP, holds a Master's Degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University, which they obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Emporia State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their educational achievements, Courtney also holds the certification of SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society for Human Resource Management, which they obtained in February 2017.
