Crow Holdings
Harlan Crow is the Chairman of the Board of Crow Holdings, a private family business established to manage the capital of the Trammell Crow family. After working in a variety of positions at the firm, beginning as an industrial leasing agent in Houston in 1974, Harlan assumed overall responsibilities for the business in 1988.
During his tenure as CEO, Crow Holdings grew and strengthened its position as a leader in the real estate investment business. The firm made important strategic diversifications into a variety of additional asset classes including new asset allocation models for public equities, hedge funds, private equities and other asset classes. Today, the firm’s asset base is diversified.
The University of Texas – Austin alumnus received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1974. He is a director on several boards including the American Enterprise Institute, the George W. Bush Foundation Board, the Southwestern Medical Foundation, the Supreme Court Historical Society Board and the Antiquarian Society. He also serves as Honorary Consul of Denmark for the Southwest region. He is the third son of Margaret and Trammell Crow.

Crow Family Inc. was formed in 1987 as a family office to own and manage the capital of the Trammell Crow family. Today, Crow Family Holdings maintains a substantial stake in the ownership of various signature properties, with varying levels of management.The company’s signature properties include the Old Parkland Campus, the Anatole Hotel and Dallas Market Center – all located in Dallas – as well as the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans, LA and the International Trade Mart in Brussels, Belgium.
