Karl Hirschey joined Trammell Crow Residential in 2015 as a Managing Director and works with the development team on DFW opportunities. Karl has over 30 years of experience in construction and development management, much of it focused on multifamily development. Karl has led or been a key member of teams in the pre-development, development and/or construction of multifamily projects totaling $880 million of capitalized value and 6,200 units. Karl’s responsibilities have included leading or managing development budgets, the entitlement process, public finance, site programming, consultant selection, engagement and design, quality control, municipality relations and due diligence activities on both the land purchase and asset sale transactions. In addition to the Class A new multifamily sector, Karl has extensive experience in multifamily value-add, single family, office, retail, industrial and water & wastewater markets.
