Niels Ruijter

Niels Ruijter currently serves as directeur at NVTB since June 2018 and holds multiple roles including Beheerraad Aanbesteden en Contracteren at CROW and Board Member at Construction Products Europe aisbl. Ruijter is also voorzitter of the Medezeggenschapsraad Blauwe Morgenster at OPSPOOR and has previously contributed as bestuurslid at STABU and a member of the Raad van Toezicht for SBK en Nationale Milieudatabase. From 2015 to 2018, Ruijter organized fundraising activities for Longfonds and managed sustainability and regional operations at Bouwend Nederland from 2003 to 2018. Earlier experience includes board membership at VluchtelingenWerk West en Midden-Nederland and serving as rapporteur for the environment at FIEC EU. Niels Ruijter holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Care Management from the University of Lincoln and a B.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry - Environmental Science from Hogeschool Alkmaar.
