Sjaak Verkerk

Sjaak Verkerk is an experienced professional in the field of infrastructure and management, currently serving as a Beheereconoom at Gemeente Almere since May 2024. Sjaak has been a member of the users group Wegbeheer at CROW since March 2017, actively participating as a substitute for Bart de Cock since its inception. Additionally, Sjaak has been involved with Stichting RIONED since March 2018 as a member of the working group for new styles of sewer inspection classification. Prior to these roles, Sjaak had a lengthy tenure at Antea Group Nederland from April 1985 to May 2024, where responsibilities included senior advisor and project leader for public space management and realization, among other project management positions. Sjaak holds an engineering degree in Weg- en waterbouwkunde from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, completed between 1997 and 2002, and has completed relevant education at Versfeldt MTS Utrecht and Gooise MTS.
