Sean Boyle

Sean Boyle has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. Sean began their career as a Resident Assistant at Missouri S&T Human Resources, where they fostered a community of about forty students and coordinated events for cooking, exercise, studying, and career development. In 2014, they joined Cerner Corporation as a Software Engineer and designed a notification API that communicates to end-users via email, sms and push, and developed the related microservices. Sean also built a RESTful web content service to support a single-page application with dynamic layouts and custom navigation. In 2019, Boyle moved to Pearson Knowledge Technologies as a Senior Software Developer, where they enhanced scoring service for K-12 math test problems, developed computer algebra to evaluate equivalence & structure in syntax trees, and updated a Go web app for internal reporting. Sean also improved CI/CD builds utilizing Jenkins pipeline syntax, Docker, and python multiprocessing. Boyle is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Crowd Cow.

Sean Boyle obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology between 2012 and 2014.
