J Anthony Dees, CPA, CCIFP, CGMA has over 35 years of experience in the accounting field. J Anthony began their career in 1985 as a Shareholder at Gibbons & Dees PC. In 2004, they moved to Hartmann Blackmon & Kilgore PC as a Senior Manager. In 2009, they were appointed CFO/Controller at both Gulf Services and CrowderGulf.

J Anthony Dees, CPA, CCIFP, CGMA has an educational background in Accounting. J Anthony obtained a BSBA degree from Auburn University between 1969 and 1973. In 1975, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy. J Anthony also attended the University of South Alabama between 1990 and 1992, studying Computer Information Systems. In 2012, they obtained their Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) certification from the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP). J Anthony also holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA.
