Suzanne Bultmeyer is a writer, producer and content specialist who works with small businesses and entrepreneurs to help them craft their unique stories and connect with their audiences through branding and storytelling. In 2004, she founded her own production company, Portside Productions to work with entertainment industry and corporate clients. In 2014, she started Highland Road Media as a boutique creative agency to focus on working with founders making a difference – socially conscious companies, entrepreneurs, non-profits, documentary filmmakers and artists – to help them find their voices and elevate their ideas and growth to the next level.
A longtime writer and producer in the entertainment industry, Suzanne started her career in sports television working for USA Network, NBC Sports, Fox Sports, CBS, and The Tennis Channel, among others. She then segued into production work on independent films, documentaries, non-fiction television, and Hollywood studio projects. Her clients included Disney, Sony Studios, Warner Bros., IFC, TBS, CMT, TruTV, Starz, TV Guide Channel, and many others. Suzanne has also worked with dozens of large corporate and institutional clients like HP, the UNHCR, USC School of Robotics, CSUN, L’Oreal, Mustela, and Alliance Bernstein among others, consulting on their marketing campaigns, media and event productions. Recently, she has spent much of her time in the non-profit and crowdfunding worlds, consulting with emerging brands and foundations to help them with their content and messaging in order to leverage the most impact from their fundraising efforts.
Suzanne graduated from University of Southern California. She has been an active member of the Producers Guild of America since 2005 and sits on their East Coast Documentary/Non-Fiction Committee and the Women’s Impact Network. Suzanne has also served as a Regional Emmy Judge for the National Academy of Arts and Television.
