Charlie Guo has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Charlie is currently an author at Artificial Ignorance since 2023. Previously, they were the founder and CTO of Crowdmade, a position they held since 2014. Before that, they worked as a technical consultant at Andreessen Horowitz from 2013 to 2014, where they independently designed and developed web applications using various technologies. Charlie was also a co-founder of FanHero, a startup backed by Y Combinator, where they helped social media creators launch online stores. Prior to that, they served as a teaching assistant and section leader at Stanford University for computer science courses. Charlie co-founded and served as the CTO of ClassOwl, a platform that helps students manage their courses and assignments. Charlie has also gained experience as a software engineering intern at Palantir Technologies and Jelli Inc.
