Yoshitaka Kato

Yoshitaka Kato, also known as K2, is a seasoned security professional with over 17 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain. Currently serving as the Manager of Professional Services at CrowdStrike since July 2022, Yoshitaka previously held several key positions at Secureworks, including Senior Manager and Manager of the Incident Response and Technical Testing teams, where the focus was on enhancing customer satisfaction and service quality in the Japanese market. Before Secureworks, Yoshitaka was a Senior Security Consultant at Hewlett-Packard, overseeing Threat & Vulnerability Management and Digital Investigation Services across the APJ region. Yoshitaka also worked at Mitsui Bussan Secure Directions, Inc., leading the penetration testing team, and started a career as a Security Consultant at Symantec, providing expertise in web application penetration and product-related consulting services. Yoshitaka is an active contributor to the cybersecurity community, having spoken at the OWASP AppSec APAC 2014 conference. Yoshitaka holds a degree from Gakushuin University.
