Alex Houston

Alex Houston has a diverse background in data science and research. Alex started their career as a Research Associate at Indiana University Bloomington from 2010 to 2012. Alex then worked as a Graduate Research Associate at both Boston Children's Hospital from 2012 to 2015 and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2013 to 2014.

In 2015, they joined enVista as a Senior Consultant/Consultant, where they led supply chain network optimization analyses for clients, resulting in strategy realignment recommendations. Alex stayed with enVista until 2018.

Since 2018, Alex has been working at Crowe as a Senior Data Scientist/Data Scientist - Machine Learning. In this role, they developed machine learning applications and co-founded an ethics task force to study potential issues in data and ML models. In 2020, they were promoted to Toolkit Team Lead - Machine Learning and was responsible for defining the team's vision and strategy for building generalizable tool libraries and APIs.
