Farhan Sabzaali

Farhan Sabzaali has a strong background in data and analytics, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Farhan is currently working as the Head of Data at Crowe since October of 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Data and Analytics Practice at CGI from March 2015 to September 2023. Farhan also held the positions of Global Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Aga Khan University from August 2019 to March 2021.

Earlier in their career, Farhan worked as a Business Intelligence Practice Manager at Hitachi Vantara and Sogeti in 2014 and 2013, respectively. Farhan also served as an Executive - Access Coordinator at Aga Khan Development Network from September 2009 to July 2013. Prior to that, they worked as an Enterprise Data Architect at Insperity from August 2006 to August 2009 and as a Business Intelligence Architect at BCD Travel from June 2008 to March 2009.

Farhan's early career includes roles such as Senior Program Manager at Aga Khan Development Network from January 2003 to August 2006 and Data Architect at Liquidity Direct, LLC from June 2000 to June 2002.

Farhan Sabzaali holds a Master's degree in Project Management from Villanova University, which they obtained in 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information and Decision Science at the University of Illinois Chicago between 1994 and 1999. In terms of additional certifications, Farhan has obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including "Administer Microsoft Fabric" and "Get started with data science in Microsoft Fabric," both in 2023. Farhan also holds multiple certifications from Alation, such as "Alation - Data Catalog Fundamentals" and "Alation - Methodology for Consultants," obtained in 2021. Additionally, they have obtained the "Mental Health First Aid" certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in October 2023.
