Jim Softsis

Jim Softsis has a diverse work experience in the finance and advisory industry. Jim is currently working at Advisory Board Centre as a Certified Chair™ since 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Findex starting from 2017, including Head of Specialist Advisory, Managing Partner | Advisory & Consulting, Regional Growth Lead | Advisory & Consulting, Stakeholder Lead | Sydney, and Head of Growth | National | Advisory & Consulting. From 2012 to 2017, Jim was the Managing Partner | Business Advisory at Crowe. Jim also worked as an Associate Director | Privately Held Business Services at Grant Thornton Australia from 2005 to 2012, and as a Partner | Business Services & Advisory at Rothsay Chartered Accountants from 1999 to 2005. Additionally, in 2022, Jim became an Accredited Advisor at Family Business Australia.

Jim Softsis completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Macquarie University in 1999. Jim then pursued a Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting from the same university, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. In 2002 and 2003, they obtained an Advanced Diploma (CA) in Accounting from the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Recently, in 2021 and 2022, Jim attended the University of Adelaide for the Family Business Accreditation Advisor Program (FBA).
