Kristin Orrell

Kristin Orrell is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in technical accounting and financial reporting. As Managing Director at Crowe since May 2022, Kristin leads the Accounting Advisory's Technical Accounting Center of Excellence, providing multi-faceted solutions to clients in need of complex reporting and finance transformation. Prior to this role, Kristin held the position of Senior Director at Cognizant, overseeing the Global Growth Markets portfolio and managing the accounting policy and M&A processes for significant transactions across multiple regions. Kristin's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Accountant at Purdue Pharma L.P., where oversight of financial reporting and external audit relationships was emphasized, and various roles at PwC, from Director to Senior Associate, focusing on transaction services and accounting consultations. Additionally, Kristin contributed to the International Accounting Standards Board in supporting financial instruments standards. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
