Cara Severson

Cara Severson has extensive work experience in accounting roles within the energy industry. Cara began their career at Finley & Cook as a Bookkeeper from 1999 to 2002. Cara then worked at Richland Resources Corp. as a Revenue Accountant and Oil and Gas Accountant from 2003 to 2013, where they managed revenue processing, handled accounts payable, and completed JIB closes. From 2013 to 2019, they served as an Operations Accountant at LARAMIE ENERGY LLC, where they completed joint interest billing processes and maintained JIB decks and allocations. Cara later joined Jagged Peak Energy as a JIB Accountant from 2019 to 2020, where they performed full cycle JIB close processes and billed partners for drilling and producing overhead. Cara then worked as an Operations Accountant at Clear Creek Resource Partners from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are working as a Lead JIB Accountant at Crowheart Energy, LLC since 2021. In 2021, they also worked as a JIB Accountant Contractor at Kalnin Ventures for a brief period.

Cara Severson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting Control Systems from the University of North Texas, where they attended from 1994 to 1998.
