Bleu Hilburn

Bleu Hilburn has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bleu began their career in the US Army as a Transportation Officer in 1992 and served until 2012. During this time, they held various roles, including Battalion Commander and Director of Logistics for Special Operations Command South.

In 1999, Hilburn worked as an Operations Officer for the 598th Transportation Brigade (SDDC Europe and Africa) until 2001. Bleu then joined the 10th Mountain Division, where they served as the Director of Transportation and later as the Chief of Logistics Plans. In these roles, they played a key role in planning and coordinating transportation operations to support military campaigns and implemented innovative strategies that improved efficiency and reduced costs.

Hilburn's civilian career began in 2007 with the United States Southern Command, where they worked as a Logistics Planner/Manager. Bleu also served as the Director of Logistics for the Special Operations Command South from 2009 to 2010.

In 2012, Hilburn transitioned to the private sector and joined Crowley Maritime, where they held various roles, including Vice President Government Services and Director of Crowley Logistics Special Projects. Bleu then moved on to become the Vice President of Business Development for the American Roll-on Roll-off Carrier Group before returning to Crowley in the same role.

Bleu Hilburn earned a Masters of Military Arts and Science in Operational Art from the School of Advanced Military Studies in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in the years 1993-1995. Hilburn's undergraduate degree, a BS in Marine Transportation, was earned from the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 1988 to 1992.
