Christy Guthman

Christy Guthman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christy currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at Crowley, a role they started in October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at GE Renewable Energy for over a decade, where they held multiple roles, including Executive General Manager of Sales and Commercial Operations, North America - GE Offshore Wind, Senior Sales Director for the West US & Mexico, and Senior Account Manager. Christy also completed the Renewable Energy Leadership Program (RELP) at GE Renewable Energy. In addition, Christy served as a Board Member at the National Offshore Wind Research & Development Consortium from June 2022 to October 2023. Christy also held leadership positions at the American Clean Power Association (ACP), where they were the Co-Chair of the American Clean Power Offshore Wind Council and the American Clean Power Offshore Wind Conference. Christy began their career as a Small Enterprise Development Volunteer in the Peace Corps and later worked as an Advanced Buyer at Valeo.

Christy Guthman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Logistics Management, Marketing, and Spanish from Central Michigan University. Christy also attended Harvard University to study Finance. Furthermore, they pursued an MBA in Sustainable Global Enterprise at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
