Clayton Heil has extensive work experience in government relations and law. Clayton currently serves as the Vice President of Global Government Relations at Crowley. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Clayton also held the role of Partner at Ice Miller LLP and Principal at Ice Miller Strategies LLC. Earlier in their career, Heil worked in various legislative and legal positions in the United States Senate, including Deputy Staff Director & General Counsel for the Senate Appropriations Committee and Legislative Director & General Counsel for Senator Thad Cochran. Clayton began their career as a Staff Assistant/Intern in the United States Congress.
Clayton Heil's education history includes a BA in Economics & Political Science from Colorado State University and a JD in Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Clayton also obtained additional certifications such as the District of Columbia Bar from the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense, and the United States Supreme Court Bar from The Supreme Court of the United States.
