Megan K. Johnnie is a seasoned professional in environmental compliance and regulatory governance with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Manager of Safety and Environmental Governance at Crowley since June 2017, Megan is responsible for developing and leading environmental compliance programs and managing safety training for the Crowley Fuels business unit in Alaska. Prior roles include Environmental Senior Specialist at Crowley, where operational compliance activities were managed, and regulatory compliance programs were developed for Alaskan operations, as well as Regulatory Specialist at Devon Energy, focusing on oil and gas permitting and compliance across New Mexico and Oklahoma. Earlier experience includes positions at Chesapeake Energy and the Oklahoma Water Resources Board, with a solid educational foundation comprising dual Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Environmental Science from Oklahoma State University and additional studies at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
