Joel S. May

Mr. May joined Crown Asset Management in 2022 as General Counsel. He has 15 years of legal and regulatory compliance experience in the consumer finance industry. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. May served as Assistant General Counsel for a leading non-bank financial services company. With his background, he brings expertise in several consumer finance law areas such as the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, the Fair Debt Collections Act, and others. He has a history of successful dealings with state and federal regulators. Mr. May graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Kennesaw State University and he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Tennessee
