Jason Welton

Jason Welton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales engineering and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering - Advanced Technologies at Crown Castle since September 2021, Jason has previously held key positions at Zayo Group, where titles included Director Solutions Engineering for US Carrier Accounts and Senior Manager of Solution Engineering for the Northwest. Earlier roles include Sales Engineer at Electric Lightwave, Senior Test Engineer at Ciena, and Technical Project Manager at Cerium Networks, where project management involved installing Cisco voice and data networking systems. Jason's foundational experience includes roles as Sr. Network Analyst at Con-way Enterprise Services and Sr. Manager of Operations at XO Communications. Educationally, Jason holds a Telecommunications Journeyman degree from the AJEATT program, completed between 1993 and 1998.
