Phil West

Phil West is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Crown Castle since January 2023, overseeing external and internal communications as well as CEO messaging. Prior to this role, Phil was the Director of External Communications at Cheniere Energy, Inc., where responsibilities included media relations and crisis management. Phil also held the position of Manager of Media and Public Relations at Apache Corporation, focusing on media training and external communications. Earlier roles include Director of Communications at Enbridge and Director of Communications and Outreach for a division of the U.S. Department of Energy. Phil's career began at NASA, where various roles were undertaken, including Deputy Director of Communications & Public Affairs. Phil holds a degree from Purdue University and graduated from Wyoming High School.
