Masood Rushdee

Masood Rushdee has a strong background in the hotel and resort industry, with significant experience in revenue management and distribution. Masood is currently the Director of Revenue at Crown & Champa Resorts, a position they have held since November 2021. Before that, they served as the Distribution Manager at the same company from September 2020 to October 2021. Prior to joining Crown & Champa Resorts, Masood worked at Agoda for several years, holding various senior market manager roles. From May 2017 to July 2020, they served as the Senior Market Manager for Sri Lanka, and from May 2015 to May 2017, they held the same position for Phuket, Khao Lak, and Phang Nga. Masood started their career at Agoda as the Senior Market Manager for the Maldives from November 2012 to April 2015. Before their time at Agoda, Masood worked at Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, where they held several roles in the reservations department. Their positions at Banyan Tree included Reservations Manager, Assistant Reservations Manager, Reservations Supervisor, and Reservations Coordinator. Masood is skilled in maximizing room sales and revenue, ensuring staff operate with a sales attitude, and monitoring availability to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue.

Masood Rushdee holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Australian Institute of Business, which they obtained in 2018. In 2010, they received a certificate in Hotel Revenue Management and a degree in Strategic Hospitality Management from Cornell University. Additionally, Masood obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Hotel Catering & Institutional Operations from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies in 2004. Masood also has additional certifications, including "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google Digital Garage in 2020, and another BTEC National Diploma in Hotel, Catering & Institutional Operations from Edexcel in 2004.
