Ben Clifton

Ben Clifton is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including aviation, transport, and education. Currently serving as the Interim Head of Communications at The Crown Estate since May 2021, previous roles include Head of Communications at MAG Airports Group and London Stansted Airport, where strategic direction in corporate and internal communications was established. Clifton has held senior positions at the Department for Transport, coordinating high-profile campaigns and managing communications during significant projects like Brexit and Heathrow expansion. Earlier career highlights include leading media relations at The Open University and delivering impactful media strategies during critical government initiatives. Clifton holds a BA (Hons) in French and Hispanic Studies from Cardiff University.
