Steff Reed

Steff Reed is an experienced educator and volunteer coordinator currently serving as the Coordinator of Volunteers for the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council, Inc., where responsibilities include managing the JCC Food Pantry's Volunteer Program and its annual fundraising efforts. Prior to this role, Steff contributed as a Teaching Artist at the Apollo Theater and Urban Arts Partnership, focusing on using hip-hop and the arts to enhance students' academic performance, alongside providing private and group music lessons at the Brooklyn Music School. Steff has also held positions as a Choir Director, engaging inner-city students in music education, and as a Teaching Artist at the Harlem School of the Arts, specializing in music technology and sound design. Steff's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Social Justice from Union Theological Seminary and multiple degrees in Music Performance and Audio Engineering from various institutions.
