Karun Giri

Karun is an accomplished IT professional with over 10 years of experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Group Manager of IT Services at Crown Resorts, he has been instrumental in overseeing IT staff performance, strategic planning, budget management, and service delivery since December 2022. His leadership fosters a collaborative work environment while ensuring the alignment of IT strategies with overall business objectives.

Prior to his current role, Karun held the position of Assistant Manager in Group IT Operations, where he managed IT support teams and coordinated incident management, project participation, and stakeholder communication. His earlier experiences include roles as an Information Technology Supervisor and Deskside Support Engineer, where he honed his skills in user support, network troubleshooting, and hardware installations.

Karun holds a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Edith Cowan University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (2005-2010). During his academic tenure, he was actively involved in the Bhutanese Student Association and the event management team.

With a strong foundation in IT operations and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Karun continues to drive technological advancements and improve service delivery in his current role.
