Fred Raphael

Fred Raphael is currently the Head of Strategic Transport at Croydon Council, where they oversee transportation development and strategies. With a career spanning over three decades, Fred has held various positions including Principal Engineer at London Borough of Hackney and Transportation Development Manager at Thurrock Council, where they engaged with stakeholders to address transportation challenges. Fred also has extensive experience in civil engineering, having previously worked with the Government of Saint Lucia and Halcrow Group Saint Lucia. They hold multiple degrees in transport and planning, including a Master of Science in Transport Planning and Engineering and an ongoing MPhil/PhD in Transport from the University of Westminster.
