Alistair Hewitt

Alistair Hewitt is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Commodity Data Transformation at CRU since May 2023. Prior to this role, Alistair was the Deputy Director of Outreach & Engagement at EDHECinfra from July 2022 to April 2023. Alistair's extensive background includes leadership positions at the World Gold Council, where responsibilities included Executive Director of Marketing Communications and Director of Market Intelligence. Alistair also held roles at the Bank of England, including Market Intelligence Manager and Deputy Agent for the North East. Earlier in the career, Alistair worked as a Private Banker at Coutts. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Imperial College Business School, an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham. Alistair's foundational education was completed at Bedwas Comprehensive School.
