Atul Kulkarni is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the steel and iron ore industries. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at CRU since May 2017, Atul specializes in costs and emissions modeling for the global steel industry and long-term cost forecasting. Previously, Atul held the position of Business Planning Manager at Essar Steel, where responsibilities included overall business planning, and Procurement Manager, focusing on procurement strategies and market analysis of iron ore, coal, and scrap markets. Atul also has experience as Associate Manager - Marketing at MSPL Limited, providing analytical support for strategic decisions in iron ore sales, and held marketing roles at Bohler-Uddeholm and Buderus Edelstahl GmbH, focusing on market analytics and research in steel products. Atul holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute and an MBA in Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
