Rakib H. has extensive experience in thermal management within various high-tech industries, currently serving as a Thermal Management of Sensors specialist for autonomous vehicles at Cruise since December 2021. Prior to this role, Rakib held the position of Thermal Manager at Christie Digital Systems, managing thermal systems for advanced laser projection technologies from April 2017 to December 2021. From October 2010 to April 2017, Rakib was the Thermal Design Lead at Teledyne DALSA, focusing on thermal engineering solutions for image sensors and detectors across diverse applications. Earlier experience includes a role as a Thermal Design Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace Toronto, where Rakib developed electronic cooling solutions for aerospace products from December 2006 to October 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Electronics Cooling from the University of Waterloo and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guelph.
